Just wanted to share some special e-mail that I received from my e-pal, Roger, and my goddaughter, Michelle. Roger's e-mail will come first followed by Michelle's lighthearted message. Feel free to e-mail this page to people you know who would enjoy it!

I will be out of town from July 28-August 6. When I return I will be undergoing that medical test where they stick that camera(?) down your throat and see what is going on (August 9th). Hopefully you guys can get a few new ideas and start the ball rolling.

I would like to start the program here in Brunswick, Georgia as this is where the Federal Law Enforcement Center is located. Thousands of Police Officers, FBI Agents and Border Patrol personnel train here. Hopefully they will carry the word about our project with them as they spread out across the country.

After setting up here in Brunswick, I would like to start a program in Jacksonville, Florida.

Then hit a few more major cities in Florida.

This will give us a foundation to work with when introducing this project to police departments in other major cities. I am hoping that by hitting a few major cities that the smaller surrounding towns will see what is happening and will contact us. If so, we can help them start the project in their area.

I have received quite a few e-mails from people wanting to help with the project but very few have signed up. I am not sure why. I hope people like AJ will spread the word as she is one who loves to talk with people. Wayne Evers has told me that if we want he will set up and design a web site for the project at no charge.

There may be some who wish to donate but do not want to get involved with the actual running of the project. When donations start to come in I will deposit the funds in a separate account and when Wayne builds the web site I will post any and all donations received.

Anyone donating needs to let me know if I can put their name next to the donation or at least their initials and city where they live.

I want everyone involved to see exactly what is happening at all times. As I stated earlier, all monies received will be spent on purchasing teddy bears. The only other costs to be taken from those funds will be for the mailing or delivery of the bears to the police departments. Even that expense will appear on the web site.

I am not going to set up another non-profit for this project. The last time it cost me almost $1,100.00 to set up the Orphan Foundation. It is just to costly and a total waste of money. I guess anyone wanting to donate can make the check out to me and write on the memo The "We-Care-Bear-Project". Some may want to purchase teddy bears themselves and mail them to us at the address below. The easiest way for me would be for people to purchase a WalMart Gift Card and mail it to us. That way we can purchase the teddy bears at WalMart. The less cash we receive the easier it will be to keep track of everything.

We need to begin spreading the word and see if we can get this
project rolling in the next week or two.

I love birds

and don't want one to run into a clean window

and get hurt.

will slip and get hurt

then I'll feel terrible

( plus they may sue me.)

I don't mind the dust bunnies because ...

They are very good company,

I have named most of them,

and they agree with everything I say.

I don't disturb cobwebs because ...

I want every creature

to have a home of their own.

I don't Spring Clean because ...

I love all the seasons

and don't want the others

to get jealous

I don't pull weeds

in the garden because ..

in God's way,

HE is an excellent designer!

My husband

I don't do gourmet meals
when I entertain because ...

I don't want my guests

to stress out over what

to make when

they invite me

over for dinner.

I don't iron because ...

I choose to believe them

when they say "Permanent Press".

I don't stress much on anything because ...

and I want to stick around

and become a wrinkled up crusty ol' woman!!!!
